Cliff Marsh LRPS was one point shy of a maximum 20 points in the print
section of the annual 4-way competition at St Ives - against the host
club, St Neots and Ely.
Cliff's monochrome close-up of a vintage car, entitled 'Detail' was
praised by judge Eric Saul for its quality but the 19 mark could not
prevent the club finishing in fourth place with its eight-print entry.
The digital image workers suffered a similar fate, with the club's top
mark of 18 going to Albert Horton's 'Small Skipper', as Ely won the
night by a four-point margin.
